Hello there 🙂
While many of us are doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home or doing important jobs, big fashion companies are also graciously helping. Earlier this week, luxury conglomerate LVMH, which owns Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, and others, announced that its perfume and cosmetic factories will manufacture hand sanitizers for distribution to the French health authorities. Now Zara's parent company Inditex has announced its own contribution to the cause.
How Fashion The Spanish company Inditex has reportedly committed to donating masks to health workers and COVID-19 patients in Spain. The company has already donated 10,000 masks and hopes to donate another 300,000. Per FashionInditex's statement states that "materials that we buy directly are delivered at least once a week". In addition to the masks, Inditex is actively researching ways to manufacture hospital gowns in its own factories. Inditex is currently trying to procure the necessary hospital equipment Fashion. I think we can all agree that the world needs all the help it can get now, so Bravo to Inditex to strengthen itself.
