Attention fashion fans! C&A has expanded its range, not with its own new collection, but with an external brand: the Dutch retailer is now cooperating with the Only label.
New at C&A: The Only brand
Anyone who has taken a look at the C&A online shop in the last few days and browsed for new styles for the coming season should have noticed something new. No, this is not a new webshop design, but a new brand. There is very quietly and secretly without much notice from now on you can buy the styles of the brand Only at C&A! Not only a perfect addition to the in-house brand Clockhouse, but also in terms of style, because with Only the Scandinavian style that everyone loves is now moving into C&A.
Integration of external brands will be continued
In addition to Only, the Danish bestseller group is mainly for its brands Vero Moda, Jack & Jones and Selected known. Brands that have been available either in their own stores or for many years on shop-in-shop areas in large department store chains such as Peek & Cloppenburg and Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof. With the introduction of Only at C&A, the Dutch clothing retailer is further expanding the integration of external brands. In the past few years customers have already been able to Jeans from Mustang and Wrangler, and decorative items and home accessories from Butlers buy in stores.
Shop trendy styles from Only online at C&A:
For now there are the styles but only in the C&A online shop to buy. And the best thing about it: The first products are already in the big winter sale! While the brand has been available to buy in selected C&A stores in Austria since 2019, it is still unclear at this point whether and when the bestselling brand will be available in German C&A stores.
Will other foreign brands follow?
A strange strategy to react to strong competitors like Primark and H&M or a clever move in the tough competition for sales with decreasing customer footfall? This was started by the former C&A Europe boss Alain Caparros, his successor Edward Brenninkmeijer continued this new concept. How things will continue has been in the hands of a woman since January.
Giny Boer, a former Ikea manager, has been sitting in the European executive chair at C&A since January 2021. So maybe we can expect a new cooperation on furniture at C&A soon? We are excited to see which third-party brand will be introduced next at C&A and until then we will shop the new styles from Only online!
