Hello there 🙂
In the winter months (at least for me), shoe colors can be a bit of an afterthought. Day after day I only reach for black leather boots or gray sneakers, but that changes in spring. When the temperature rises again and my arms come out of the layers of fabric they've been hiding under for months, I don't have to worry about slipping on ice and can instead worry about which shoes to go with my outfit best fit.
Even so, I don't think it's necessary to own a million pairs of spring shoes. With just 5 versatile shoe colors, you are more than prepared for spring. And as you will see below, I did not include black shoes as these are taken for granted. The five shoe colors I. did Focus on some neutrals and some more colors that are surprisingly easy to wear and light and airy to wear in spring. So if you're as ready to shop for spring shoes as I am, keep scrolling to do just that.
Light brown shoes are the ultimate feather neutrality – even more so than black shoes, which can be a little heavy with typical spring colors. When in doubt, you can't go wrong with this color and you will likely wear more brown shoes than anyone else in your closet.
If you scratch your head because pink shoes are a staple, listen to me. Pink is one of those colors that can be wonderfully combined with so many other colors, from blue to brown. I own a pair of pink shoes and I always hesitate to buy them, but then I wear them a lot more than I thought.
White shoes used to be a trend, but now they're an essential wardrobe, especially for spring and summer. There is really no color of clothing they have Not I advise you to stock up on white flats, heels and sneakers.
Multi-colored shoes are fun because they don't go with anything and therefore go with everything. If you're a beginner at print mixing, a good place to start is with a pair of fun multi-colored shoes – take my word for it.
I understand that navy is not the most exciting shoe color in the world, but I encourage you to swap out your black shoes for navy in the spring. They feel a little fresher and more unexpected, and make a nice contrast to spring pastels (and are a nice addition to denim, as you can see).
Next up are the 7 shoe trends that will define 2021.
