Hello there 🙂

An evergreen "trend" sounds like an oxymoron if we've ever heard one, but I'll just say it: animal print is one trend that will outlast the others. Whether it was my grandmother's leopard coat or the number of snakeskin-printed items I've seen on Instagram lately, I'm convinced that animal prints of all kinds are the trend that will never die. For spring 2020, they turned into abstract versions of leopards and zebras, while styling is about mixing the prints with neutral tones and a lot of tailoring. A look at the street style scene from the fashion month confirms this.

To show you that animal print is still relevant to fashion audiences this spring, we've sourced our most recent favorite examples along with purchases from our own Who What Wear collection, because yes, if we spot a trend, we love it to place our own (fairly affordable) spin on it. From ready-to-wear dresses to statement tops to pants, we've designed everything you need to improve your look without breaking the budget. So just keep scrolling to get started.

Tiered dresses are one of our favorite dress silhouettes this spring, and our leopard-print babydoll dress, as shown here, is a fun way to enhance the look.

Wild prints and bold colors somehow feel a lot more accessible when they're monochromatic.

Wondering how to best wear animal prints in 2020? The answer is to combine it with neutral tones and classic tailoring.

Rust just has a moment – and wearing black and white (what some call a "fashion flaw") feels really fresh.

Another spring trend we love is vests. And although intimidation can be intimidating, we recommend emulating this look with both our animal print puffed sleeved blouse and the straight-leg trousers with a pleated front.

When you replace a printed pair of pants with a simple pair, your look becomes immediately more exciting.

Take a party dress over a structured jacket and sneakers into the day.

Participate this spring with "Grandma Dressing" – especially because animal prints are the only trend that has held up generations of fashion girls for generations.

Next up are the trendy and affordable purchases that our editors recommend for spring.
