Let me just say that until recently I avoided pink eyeshadow like the plague – because I thought I looked like me would have the plague. Or pink eye. Or too much glass of wine the night before. When I started seeing pink eyelids on all social media and celebrities in particular, I was intrigued … intrigued indeed! It's no secret that bold, colorful makeup looks have been in the spotlight for an extended moment through graphic liners, sparkling surfaces, and cool, avant-garde shadow designs, but for the most part the trend has fluctuated more neutral and cooler, mostly using shades like blue, Purple and green. But lately the surge in pink eyeshadow and liner has been steadily increasing, and in a surprising plot the effect is pure fancy and not in the least sick.
Any maximalist makeup look can be intimidating for us newbies, but pulling off a tech-colored eyeshadow mood is especially challenging (at least for me!). That said, since my camera roll and IG storage are currently overflowing with inspiration images and looks demonstrated by all of my favorite makeup artists and celebrities, I thought it was high time to investigate the growing trend and figure out how to do that once and for all Conquered the process like a pro. For guidance and expert information on the subject, I reached out to makeup artist and managing director of her eponymous makeup brand Danessa Myricks and famous makeup artist Donni Davy, also known as the colorful mastermind euphoria& # 39; s ultra-cool makeup aesthetic.
Here you will find tons of inspiration photos to whet your appetite, as well as Myrick and Davy's top tips for creating your own pink eyeshadow moment at home. (Trust me. It's easier to get around than you think.) Keep scrolling for everything you need to know, and take screenshots along the way. Indeed, it is encouraged!
