Hello there 🙂
In my opinion, 2020 had exactly one grace of salvation: Bridgerton. Unfortunately, Netflix just announced that Page won't be reviving his steamy character Bridgerton Season 2. Why? Since the next episode follows the plot of the second book in the series, The Viscount who loved meThe focus is on Daphne's brother Lord Anthony Bridgerton and his search for a wife.
You can count on the entire Bridgerton family to return in Season 2, including Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Eloise, and Francesca, as well as the all-important Lady Whistledown. The Matriarch of Bridgerton will also return, and based on the book, we expect the story to provide more insight into the death of the Bridgertons' father and its impact on Anthony. We'll also meet two new characters who haven't been cast: sisters Kate and Edwina Sheffield.
"We'll miss Simon's on-screen presence, but he'll always be part of the Bridgerton family," read a statement the show has to offer – more intrigue and romance than my readers can stand. “According to Page's new interview with diversityWe can take comfort that the actor knew his character's storyline would come to an end in season one.
