In spring 2020, H&M will have a very special cooperation in store for us: The Swedish fast fashion giant has announced its worldwide collaboration with Indian couture designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. We give you a first look at the collection and tell you where and when you can buy the styles!
With our favorite Sweden, one cooperation is currently chasing the next. If we recently told you about the upcoming Billie Eilish Merch Collection and a collaboration with the model icon Helena Christensen, the next global collaboration is already in the starting blocks: H&M and Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Never heard? Don't worry, because it is a kind of insider tip.
India's fashionable insider tip
Still relatively unknown to us, Mukherjee is already one of the most popular wedding dress designers for Bollywood stars in his native India. The collaboration with H&M, on the other hand, is all based on the motto "Wanderlust". Inspired by luxurious textiles, the craftsmanship and the history of India, the collection consists of versatile travel looks. Fashion for traveling? Don't panic, with flowing silhouettes and embroidery, the styles will also add a certain elegance to your everyday life.
"H&M is delighted to be working with the Indian icon Sabyasachi, who is known for his dynamic use of local handicrafts and textiles – a language so impressive that it has changed the country's fashion and design landscape," said Ella Soccorsi, concept designer for collaborations and special collections from H&M.
In this video you can get a first look at parts of the collection:

A cooperation that could make H&M once again a pioneer in the fast fashion world.
