Hello there 🙂
There was a time many lots Years ago when my jeans were dangerously low waisted. I'm talking about jeans that are so low that they violate my high school dress code. (I'm surprised that my parents let me out of the house with these notorious Frankie B jeans.) Luckily, my taste changed drastically as I got older, and my denim preference changed in reverse. Nowadays, I wear strictly high-waisted jeans and don't even want to look at couples falling under my navel. I personally find it more flattering and convenient. (But hey – if they're not your thing, that's fine too! You know?)
Now that I have a long torso, finding jeans that hit my navel or above can be quite a task. Since it's an increase of 12 inches or more, not every denim brand offers such an option. But during my years of experience, I've figured out which brands offer styles that meet these criteria, and I've stuck to them, from the wide-leg jeans that compliment me the most, to the ultimate skinny jeans for the evening eight best denim brands for high waist jeans.
When I found out that one of my favorite affordable retailers was making extremely high waist models, I was thrilled. Almost all jeans from & Other Stories cost less than $ 100. Not to mention the fact that much of the range can easily be mistaken for vintage. If you are looking for retro silhouettes with a pitch of almost 12 inches at affordable prices, you've come to the right place.
sustained and super high waisted? Jackpot. Reformation denim is not only made sustainably and affordable, but also offers a variety of models with a pitch of 30 cm. Denim is widely known as one of the most polluting fashion categories. Whether you're looking for slim skinnies or cool, wide legs, Ref will meet your denim needs.
Agolde is one of those brands that is a magnet for compliments. With vintage-inspired washes and contemporary silhouettes, this is one of those brands that (in a good way) always draws attention. Its 12 1/2 "slope for styles like pinch waist and 90s loose fit jeans makes it the ideal brand for high waist denim fans like me.
Citizens of Humanity is another brand that offers several styles with a slope of over 30 cm. There are also some of the coolest wide-cut silhouettes I've ever seen.
My favorite skinny jeans ever is Cotton Citizen & # 39; s Cigarette Jean. With an extremely high rise that easily covers my navel and adapts perfectly to your body, they are the only skinny jeans I want to wear for an evening.
Okay, get ready. Here are my favorite jeans I've ever owned (and also the one that got me the most compliments): Levi's wide-leg ribcage jeans. It's called the rib cage for a reason – the rise is so high that it almost touches your ribs. I got the light wash version last summer and have never loved jeans. The fabric feels vintage, the fit is absolutely perfect, the wide-cut silhouette could not be more relevant, and the increase covers my belly button perfectly.
This is the only pair of jeans I feel absolutely safe with when I wear a short top because it covers so much of my torso that only a hint of my waist is visible. I cannot recommend this enough. However, all Levis ribcage models have the same ultra-high rise, so you can find a silhouette even if you don't prefer a wide-leg model.
My most recently discovered denim brand is Slvrlake, especially the Beatnik style of the brand. With a 12 1/2 "pitch and multiple washes that feel like a vintage shop, you can tag my words when I say this style will blow up will be the next big thing in denim.
Another sustainable denim brand that deserves your attention is Boyish. With several styles with a body height of 30 cm and trendy silhouettes such as flares and wide legs, Boyish fulfills your denim needs for 2020.
Next, I just want to wear wide leg jeans, so I'm investing in these three parts.
