Hello there 🙂

Ready or not, low pants are officially coming back. They have been popping up in the distance for some time, and being flaunted by various celebs from time to time, but I can confirm that 2021 is the year the diaphragmatic pants are exposed. (Cue the controversy.) Okay, before you try to cancel me for the start of the next low-rise era, at least let me present the chic looks you might get right now.

On the runways of S / S 2021, the designers re-presented the polarization trend. With Dion Lee, low-fitting trousers were part of a stunning three-piece suit, while with Miu Miu they were on high-waisted briefs. Of course, celebs like Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski pioneered the low-rise look with their unforgettable street-style ensembles, and frankly, the sheer number of creative ways to style them convinced me that maybe –only maybe-I could get the idea.

Whether you see them bubbling in the air too, or just curious about the looks I don't quite hate, read on for my favorite low-rise pants outfits from runways, celebs, and Instagram.

At Fendi, suit trousers have been reinterpreted in a wide, low-slung silhouette that looks surprisingly polished.

Dion Lee's laced waist trousers are already on their way to the next it article of spring. With a corset top and a blazer, this is a fresh take on a three-piece suit.

The trouser layer on Miu Miu combined with the model's high-heeled flip-flops screams in the early 2000s.

Diaphragm was another big trend we spotted on the S / S 21 runways. Here the barely visible look is offset by an oversized flannel shirt.

Relaxed suits are going to be an important silhouette this spring, and Sportmax offered another pairing with low pants that is actually pretty chic.

EmRata was way ahead of everyone else when she stepped out in this low, matching look in 2019.

Bella Hadid is no stranger to the low rise phenomenon, but of all of her outfits, this laid-back, cool look feels the most approachable (and most manageable).

This simple tank and pants outfit lives rent free in my head and may or may not be the inspiration for this whole story.

What did I say about these Dion Lee pants becoming a popular item? If anyone can pull them off without a mistake, it's Dua Lipa.

Highly polished pinstripes are a fresh take on the low-rise look.

Belly chains, another fallback trend, were essentially designed for low climbs.

If low ledges scare you, try one in a roomy, wide-leg shape like this one that is much more portable.

You really can't go wrong with the right set.
