Normcore may not be a novelty in fashion anymore, but given the fundamental trends that have emerged over the last year, it is certainly still a thing. Fleece sweaters, plaid shackets, dad jeans, and cleated-soled boots are some of the season's biggest trends, but there's another one you may not know about but suddenly everywhere: puffer vests. And a stylish celebrity who loves such a functional trend is Katie Holmes.
When Holmes was in New York recently, he put a puffer vest between a turtleneck and blazer to eliminate the need for a coat. Genius if you ask me I've never fully understood the purpose of a warm vest, and we all know the Silicon Valley and Wall Street off duty uniforms, but I've seen so many creative outfits this season that I'm now getting the universal appeal.
