Hello there 🙂
If you read Who What Wear regularly, you're probably familiar with Kate Middleton's wardrobe. She dresses quite classically, but occasionally she surprises us with something else (example: this chic warehouse and Chanel outfit last month). The list of designers she often turns to is pretty straightforward: often Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, and occasionally Erdem, Emilia Wickstead, and Roksanda. But it's not just the more expensive end of the spectrum that she's excited about. She regularly wears fast fashion pieces from various brands, from Superga sneakers to other Stories dresses. But and I'm going to put my effort into the ground here, her favorite business must be Zara.
She has been wearing parts of the brand for years and always makes them look super expensive. Today she was wearing a checkered dress from the brand (unfortunately already sold out) under an Alexander McQueen coat and with a pair of black block heels and a black bag with a handle pocket. Last year she was seen out of the store with a trendy black ornate headband. While attending the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a bat-neck dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, a $ 30 Zara headband, and an Alexander McQueen bag.
This made me think on all the other occasions that she was wearing the Spanish mega brand and the parts she always wears over everyone else. My theory is that she always buys the basics to make them look more expensive. But when it comes to accessories, she always goes a little further to the left and experiments. Check out her look today and then move on to your guide to shop for Zara like Kate Middleton.
