Hello there 🙂
I don't believe anyone Likes uncomfortable shoes, but again I was tolerant of them. I worked from home for almost six years and it may sound crazy, but my feet were tougher when I wore real shoes every day. I usually wear slippers to work from home, and the calluses that armored my shoes are long gone. So if i do wear somewhat uncomfortable shoes these days, i have blisters within minutes. (As the world opens up again and we wear real shoes more often, I advise you to proceed with caution.) On another point I'm also on the short side, which is fine, but sometimes apartments just don't cut it for me. But good news: there is a spring shoe trend that appeals to all of this.
As you know, both flat and high heeled flip-flops have been trending for a few seasons, but the flip-flop trend that will be the focus this season is of the flatform variety and the most comfortable to date. The flat sole is easy to walk on (and even muddy for many couples) and increases the height. I haven't ordered a pair yet, but I think it's my duty after writing this story. I narrowed it down to the Staud or Jacquemus couple. Keep scrolling to choose your favorite and see how the trending is shaping up on the streets and on the runway.
