Hello there 🙂
I moved to Boston last year after spending some time in New York City and Los Angeles. And while Beantown is certainly bigger than many cities, it's a bit smaller than I'm used to. It's also not necessarily one of the "fashion capitals" compared to N.Y.C. or LA But like almost everywhere, there is still an important style element in the city. As a result, I like it personally Bring it with my fashion choices whenever I'm in the mood. But while these versatile looks make it into my rotation, it's the more basic ensembles that make up my everyday life to stay comfortable and chic. Of course, I can make optimal use of these simple, elevated parts. After looking through my closet, there are actually about 17 items I really couldn't live without, as they can be mixed and matched to make my fit. And that's how my capsule wardrobe was born.
Interested in the basics of my Boston wardrobe? Keep scrolling and look at my capsule wardrobe. It contains six outfit ideas (although more could have been created) that, thanks to their versatility, are really suitable for everyone – regardless of which city you live in.
White t-shirt + moto jacket + jogger + sunglasses + sneakers
Basically, I would consider this my casual uniform with trendy joggers and other casual staples like a white t-shirt, a moto jacket, and sneakers.
Cardigan + turtleneck sweater + trench coat + jeans + slippers + sunglasses + shoulder bag
For a more polished, understated fit, a multi-layer ensemble with cardigan and turtleneck sweater with jeans and loafers looks like A +. While I'm in a ditch, almost every piece of outerwear would work here.
Trench coat + turtleneck sweater + vest + leather pants + slippers
A current vest over a turtleneck sweater is nifty and yet forward. Leather pants also add a new dimension here, but normal black pants also go well with loafers.
Button-down + cardigan + skinny jeans + ankle boots
For a professional, but half-weakened ensemble, elegant jeans like black skinnies go well with a button-down and a cardigan.
Vest + leather pants + shoulder bag + sneakers
I like this look, but I also recommend it to my friends: a trendy vest with leather pants and sneakers.
Button-down + white t-shirt + moto jacket + skinny jeans + ankle boots
A moto jacket gives every look that touch – including this jeans fit.
Next, look at the shoes you should own if you live in plain jeans.
