I spend as a fashion-related writer a lot of my wax hours online shopping. While I would prefer to consider my time spent scrolling through pages of newcomers as a mere "research", I would be lying if I said that I didn't tend to occasionally do so to put a few things in my shopping cart. I recently spent a little over two hours at Urban Outfitters, followed by a whopping 26 items in my shopping cart. What started out as curious immersion in the new arrivals from Urban resulted in more than 42 tabs being open in my web browser. I figured that any collection that made me impulsively click the shopping cart button for so many items is worth sharing.
To justify my hours of falling into a rabbit hole from Urban Outfitters, I am now writing a story about it. (I guess I never outgrew my old mall.) Unlike many of his colleagues, UO always keeps up with the ever-changing fashion world. Urban is also a great resource for discovering emerging indie designers. The real purpose of this story, however, is to present the spring goodies that I can always think about. Keep scrolling to see that all of the newcomers I instinctively know are worth buying.
This comes in two colors. I will buy both, thank you very much.
I'm still not over the baguette-bag trend and fortunately not urban either.

Moo-ve over, plain old black belts. It's time to introduce this cow print into my dressing room.
I just started retiring my sleek white Air Force 1s. This orange, detailed pair of Nike's Court Blanc style is the perfect replacement.
If I tell you I gasped …
I'm a fool for a cute hair clip.
More bungee cables. I think I'm seeing a new micro trend.
Can I dare to name this 2020 version of go-go boots?

Sometimes a retailer's styling can make all the difference. The two-piece dress is cool in itself, but the fact that it can look so good when paired with a pair of palladium boots really sells it.
I've never met faux leather pants that I didn't want to.
You can't beat the classics.
Spring blazer above, winter coat below.

Next are the six spring trends worth buying from Nordstrom.
