Hello there 🙂

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which a Who What Wear team member or a friend of the brand shares the 25 best fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

I am thirty years old. Man, that still feels strange to write. Okay, technically I'm only in for three days, but it's official. And even though I was mentally preparing for the day ahead, I woke up in the morning and felt exactly how I felt every two years: far from being a "real" adult. (I'm not even sure what I expected, to be honest – the whole thing was kind of anti-climatic.) Don't get me wrong – there is nothing wrong with aging and it is by no means 30 "old".

So I did what everyone would do first on a milestone birthday: examine my face in an enlarged mirror. I definitely have more sun spots, wrinkles and lines than 10 years ago, but given all the shit I've put in my body before (baking in the sun, no sunscreen factor, hot tools every day, etc.), I feel like I am I look damn good (and feel).

I had three decades to realize that there is no magical product that makes me (or anyone else) look young forever. Fortunately, I've done many trials and mistakes over the years and become obsessed with skin care and makeup. So here we are. Keep scrolling to find the 25 best beauty products to make you look young.

I am sure you have heard it before, but a regular peel corresponds to a more radiant skin. I haven't found an exfoliant that I like so much, and it's been six years since I started it. What I love most is that it is an exfoliating gel and not hard at all. I apply a thin layer on my face and let it rest for a few minutes before massaging it in a circular motion. When the gel is rubbed, it rolls off the skin and picks up the outermost layer of dead skin cells. Gross? Yes. But definitely a few times a week so that my complexion looks youthful.

Full disclosure: I've only been using this for three weeks, but man, it has made a big difference in my overall skin tone and texture. In the first few days my skin pilled (a lot) and I had a few more blemishes than normal, but I think my skin just adjusted. However, it does a number of things because it is formulated with antioxidants, vitamins C and E, and retinol. This helps minimize pores, lighten dark spots, and fade fine lines and wrinkles. It is super light, spreads easily and dries to a tight shield. You should therefore definitely use a moisturizer.

I'm mad at myself for giving in and buying this last year, because it's very expensive, but it's also very, very effective. So I try to remember it every time I need to fill it up. This stuff is magical in a bottle, probably because it uses over 22 active ingredients that work in synergy to fight signs of aging and create a clear, even, firm, and radiant complexion. I put a few drops in the palm of my hand and press the product into my skin for a few seconds. Repeat it, press and press it all over my face. It also smells dreamy. I will never say enough good things about it.

I have used this cream over and over again over the years, but keep coming back when the temperature starts to drop. It's heavier than I normally do, but if my skin feels extra tight, dry, or flaky, this stuff brings it back to life and makes my complexion more supple.

The absolute worst thing you can do to your skin is not to wear sunscreen. Seriously. I pulled my skin through so much shit and really wish I literally listened to everyone who told me to wear SPF every day. I probably wouldn't have so many sunspots if I listened! My SPF of choice is because it goes on easily, doesn't leave a strange white glow, and I can still apply my makeup without it wrinkling and looking strange.

I feel like when I turned 25 my eyes changed completely. On some days I wake up normally and on other days my eyes are bloodshot or swollen. Aging is weird, everyone! But this stuff works in a minute and always makes the white of my eyes so much clearer and brighter.

If you are over 20 years old you should use a retinoid or retinol solution if you want to see results without any ifs and buts. Retinoid and retinol are both vitamin A derivatives, but retinoids have a higher concentration of the active ingredient, making it much stronger. Straight-up retinoid didn't work for me, but this high-dose retinol serum did wonders for my skin. It is light, does not dry at all and really gives results without disadvantages.

Vitamin C is basically a dream ingredient to achieve age-old results, but combine it with banana powder? It is a completely different story. This eye cream is a brightening powerhouse and I always come back to it. It helps reduce discoloration and signs of aging while lightening the entire eye area.

Eye care is a big deal for me. I love putting them on while doing other things on my to-do list. They are infused with a strong peptide ingredient that brightens, reduces the appearance of swollen, sagging skin and even prevents the appearance of wrinkles.

Dry, chapped lips don't look healthy, but this treatment keeps my pout at its best. It has a calming, nourishing effect and leaves a thin top layer that looks like a shine. People always compliment me when I wear it.

It has been said that one of the things that can reveal your age is your neck. I have no good reason why I never really paid much attention to mine back in my 20s, but I regret it 100% (although this serum has helped). I am not as obsessed with the small horizontal lines as I used to be, so there is. This serum is a wonderful mixture of things like rose hip seeds, sea buckthorn, caffeine crystals and much more that help to tighten, lighten, and lighten the skin heal and care. The scent alone heals – especially after a long day.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not as hard-working when it comes to keeping the rest of my skin in top shape as I do with my face, but brushing dry a few times a week before I hop into the shower difference. It increases blood circulation, stimulates drainage from the lymphatic system and makes my skin look healthy instead of dry, flaky dirt.

This is one of my favorite tools ever. It is a facial scraper that increases blood flow, which increases elastin and collagen. It also helps with lymphatic drainage. My skin looks firmer and firmer after use.

Sometimes I wake up and my skin just looks shitty – plain and simple. But when I first use an ice cream scooter in the morning, my complexion is really awakened. It not only soothes redness and irritation, but also minimizes the appearance of pores and gives my skin a shine after training.

I started it a few years ago and I have only good things to say. It is a microcurrent face lift device. Think of it as a five-minute facelift without surgery (or pain). After cleaning, apply a gel foundation and slowly slide the device over your face and neck. It really helps to tighten the facial muscles while improving the contour and skin tone.

As I said, one of the best things you can do to make younger-looking skin visible is peeling, and this micro roller helps. It has tiny little needles that gently exfoliate the top layer of skin, increasing radiance, reducing the appearance of dull skin and making your complexion look so much smoother, plumper and firmer. I try – keyword, try – to use it at least once a week.

This is another little facial massager that I swear by. I try to use it every night and always have the feeling that my skin looks more awake and less dark and dull. It just feels good at the end of a long day.

I tend to stay away from the foundation (unless it's my beloved Armani below) and prefer something that is lighter and more moisturizing, like this tinted moisturizer. I have been using it since high school because it gives my skin such a natural glow. I never feel like it highlights one of my mistakes (or lines). it just improves my overall complexion.

When I have an event, I usually turn to this formula because it's the only one I've found that actually makes my skin look like skin. The formula contains flat pigments instead of round ones (which prevents them from peeling off and peeling off), which I think makes them the best formula for mixing, IMHO. It also leaves that perfect bright finish that always earns me a compliment or two.

The secret to making my face makeup look flawless? This.

I have big eyes at first, but everything that helps them look bigger and brighter is in my book. Also, adding a bare liner to my waterline never hurts.

There is no concealer that blurs the appearance of wrinkles like this with a creamy formula. It contains skin-friendly ingredients that moisturize the eye area and at the same time reduce the appearance of fine lines. It's basically a miracle in a tube.

I can't really complain about my brows. They have a nice shape, are quite full and always look good when I finish them. In between appointments, I rely on this brow pencil to fill in all of the sparse areas. It's crazy how much difference it makes in my whole complexion.

One of the things I worry about as I get older is that my eyelashes get thinner. Instead of using a thickening mascara, I like to use a voluminous or lengthening formula because it is generally lighter so I don't have to worry about the product straining the eyelashes that I have.

Now that I'm 30, I've noticed that my skin is gradually losing its radiance. (That's why I rely on everything in this article to bring it back.) So I like to think that the extra light in my face improves my facial features – just not on some kind of disco ball. Instead, I run a little bit of it over my cheekbones and jaws and use a little bit for the inner corners of my eyes. It's just a little extra that wakes my whole face.

Next up are 24 small but life-changing Amazon purchases that we can't get enough of.
