To say 2020 has tested us in every possible way is an understatement. Many uncertainties and challenges emerged, ultimately forcing us to slow down, look inward and use alternative forms of healing such as meditation and astrology. For experienced astrologers Chani NicholasLast year's severity came as no surprise (thanks to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction). So she spent 2020 further analyzing the complexities of astrology with her burgeoning, loyal community.
If you're familiar with astrology, you've likely come across Nicholas, an LA resident New York Times Best-selling author and exceptionally talented astrologer. Nicholas has been an advisory astrologer for over twenty years, having been introduced by the family at the age of twelve, and has led people to find:and live– their purpose in life by understanding their birth certificate and providing context for the rhythms of society.
She has grown her business beyond traditional 1: 1 card readings by building a community of over a million monthly readers websitewhere she incorporates current events, activism, social responsibility and politics into her practice. In January 2020 Nicholas published her first book, You were born for this: astrology for radical self-acceptance, where she makes the study and practice of astrology accessible and ultimately gives her readers the opportunity. And this year Nicholas has expanded her community reach with the introduction of her app CHANI and gives users a personalized daily understanding of their birth certificate together with Meditations, podcasts and workshops. Nicholas & # 39; mission is to make astrological teachings and insights truly digestible through their various platforms to eventually become a cure.
Before Nicholas discovered that her passion for astrology could actually turn into a career, she worked in a variety of industries, from the bartender and waitress to community organizer and yoga therapist. Go to Apple Podcasts, Spotifyor anywhere else you'd like to subscribe to Second Life and to hear how Nicholas found the courage – and the specific tools – to turn her passion into her business, how she advanced astrology across multiple platforms, and what to look for to continue into the new year.
