Hello there 🙂
When it comes to Meghan Markle's wardrobe, the term "high-low mix" is an understatement. The Duchess wears everything from H&M to Givenchy, sometimes even in the same outfit. After her and Prince Harry's South Africa tour this fall, where Markle wore mostly affordable clothes, we tended to think about the affordable brands she wore and which we wished she'd wear more by 2020.
While we're particularly excited when Markle carries affordable indie brands, it's also exciting to see what items she selects from these well-known retailers (which will most likely sell out immediately). Scroll on to take a walk through the past and see which affordable brands it carries and which we would like to see more of. Also buy most "Meghan Markle" items from each brand.
We are big Aritzia fans here, so we fully support Markle in wearing this beautiful purple dress again, including parts she has worn from the brand. We would be happy if she wore more of the brand's impeccable outerwear and polished blouses.
We were more than a little excited when Markle got off in a staud dress on her South Africa tour. It is one of our absolute favorites for trend-oriented pieces that breathe life into every wardrobe they touch. We would also like to see them in the brand's shoes and bags.
While many pieces of the Reformation don't quite In keeping with the royal dress code, there are plenty of things that do that. In particular, the midi dresses, the silky blouses, the wool coats and the high-waisted pants would give her wardrobe a cool girl touch. The royal couple is also committed to sustainability.
Everlane is another brand that is committed to sustainability. We'd love to see more of her affordable, stylish basics in her closet.
It makes sense that Markle & Other Stories would love. There's a great mix of classics and strikers, and the prices are shocking for the good quality.
Meghan Markle's wardrobe requires a lot of conservative pieces, and Banana Republic has many of them, many of which are fresh, youthful, and anything but stuffy, just like Markle himself.
Next up were five of Kate Middleton's most controversial outfits.
