A look at my calendar confirms that the equinox has come and gone, which means that spring is now officially ahead of us. I admit that one of the most exciting parts of starting a new season is an excuse to do some shopping and at the moment the internet is really delivering on this front. The newcomers areas at some of my affordable retailers are flooded with the finest spring sandals, and frankly, just scrolling through those styles is an uplifting activity.
The sandal styles I'm looking at also meet some of the biggest spring trends – shock – and include heightened thong sandals that channel the 90s, angular details to make every outfit more contemporary, and simple mules in a range of candy-colored hues. Pretty soon, the sandal season will feel real, and I wouldn't be surprised if many of these pairs were the first to sell out. Now is the time to snap them up before they do – just say!
Would you like to find out which pretty spring sandals I have in mind (and which I may have already ordered)? Shop the couples I love here from some of the affordable retailers that always get through, namely Nordstrom, Mango, and Zara.
